Storyboard Supervisor

Calling all animation creatives! We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Storyboard Supervisor to join us at Cloth Cat on series 2 of Luo Bao Bei!

This is a great opportunity to be a part of our busy, vibrant team working in-house at our new central Cardiff studio. We’re looking for someone with a passion for storyboarding to work closely with our Director to manage the team of freelance Storyboard Artists and ensure consistency across production.

The Storyboard Supervisor would be responsible for creating script notes and thumbnails and briefing the storyboard team as well as working on their own storyboards. They would also be responsible for reviewing all storyboards, handling feedback and revisions from the client through to final episodic animatic sign off.

Required Skills

  • Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively and manage a team of Storyboard Artists
  • A strong eye for for composition and staging
  • A good knowledge of cinematography and film principles
  • Strong drawing skills and able to respond to suggestions and feedback at short notice
  • Be a good problem solver and multi-tasker
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines and a fast paced production schedule
  • Proactive and must be open to direction


Ideally, candidates will have proven production experience and senior responsibility on at least two full broadcast series as a Storyboard Supervisor or Senior Storyboard Artist
