Storyboard Artist

Calling all animation creatives! We are looking for an enthusiastic and proven Storyboards Artists to join us at Cloth Cat to work on series 2 of Luo Bao Bei!

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of individual episodes yourself, working from signed off scripts, under the supervision of our in-house Storyboard Supervisor. You will work in Storyboard Pro, delivering thumbnails and finished boards within a structured approvals schedule.

Required Skills

  • Experience using Storyboard Pro
  • Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively, in frequent communication with the Storyboard Supervisor
  • A strong eye for for composition and staging
  • A good knowledge of cinematography and film principles
  • Strong drawing skills and able to respond to suggestions and feedback at short notice
  • Able to deliver storyboards on model for the series
  • Be a good problem solver and multi-tasker
  • Able to adhere to strict deadlines and a fast paced production schedule
  • Proactive and must be open to direction

Experience

Ideally, candidates will have proven production experience as a Storyboard Artist on at least two full broadcast series.

January 2019 to early 2020
